Geh1002 Review: The key economic problems in the developing countries with emphasis on Southeastern Asia and East Asia were highlighted in this module. Non-technical review of cross-theme trends and policy responses with relevant examples of policy is made.

The module also explores the effect and the need for developed countries to remain able to make full use of such technologies as a result of globalisation.

Upon completion of the module, students should know the Asian perspectives and their leading position in the world economy up-to-date. They will also take a look at the developments in Singapore.
